Dos Gabachos Cuishe Mezcal

One of the most fascinating aspects of mezcal is the wide variety of agave species used to create it—especially the wild agaves! Our wild Cuishe is crafted in the small town of San Baltazar Guelavila, in the Tlacolula district, by Maestro Mezcalero Rodrigo Martínez. This striking plant, with its distinctive trunk shape, takes at least 15 years to mature before it’s ready to be transformed into mezcal. The result is a mezcal with rich, nutty notes of almonds and walnuts, complemented by the sweetness of raisins and cinnamon—making this varietal a true standout and a favorite among Dos Gabachos fans.
